Hotel Belmar is nestled in the mountains,
adjacent to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. We offer spectacular
views and personalized service in a comfortable, rustic, atmosphere,
just moments away from the wilderness of an immense tropical rain forest,
internationally known as one of the world’s premiere wildlife
sanctuaries.
The hotel has 28 rooms, each with two queen beds, telephone, private
bath and hot water, views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the Cloud Forest.
Most rooms have balconies. All rooms are standard.
In addition the hotel has a restaurant and a bar, a jacuzzi, transportation
to cities throughout Costa Rica, a private nature trail, guided tours,
horseback riding, laundry service and a safe deposit box. We have a
Gallery Café in the Chalet that exhibits paintings of national
and local artists and has reading rooms, internet access, pool table
and a small bar.
