| | | Conscious design amid untouched nature has made the Aguila de Osa Inn the choice of discerning world travelers. Spacious hardwood cabins, cathedral ceilings, Italian-tiled bathrooms and spectacular Pacific views...native leather rockers on roomy front porches... Costa Rican coffee in insulated carafes delivered before dawn. Despite its remoteness, the Inn provides 24-hour electricity, hot water and charcoal/UV filtered drinking water. Part of Aguila's mystique is in well-attended details. | |
| Then there's the food... Sumptuous meals catering to every taste are no accident. Our cooks have been trained by chefs from many lands. Breakfast: a mouthwatering array of fresh baked hot breads, eggs, cereals, pancakes, crisp bacon, ham, tropical fruits, juices, coffee, tea. Lunch can be anything from sandwiches, fruit and dessert to a three-course hot meal, depending on the day's agenda. | |
| Hors d'oeuvres are served at the bar at sunset; perhaps sashimi, from yellow fin tuna, along with cocktails and tall tales of the day's adventures. Dinner is a melange of freshly-caught fish (yellow-fin tuna, red snapper, shrimp, among others); roasted chicken, pork or beef; grilled or steamed vegetables; rice, potatoes or pasta; red and white Chilean wines. We serve all meals family-style . The table fairly groans with the succulent feast while guests trade lively stories of the day's wildlife encounters. There's always more to share. | |
